SLPP Maintains Strong Hold By Winning Ward 069 Election
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara According to the National Electoral result published 13th November 2021, on the Bye Election in Kenema city Ward 069, Kassoh Anita Serah Of the Sierra Leone’s People’s Party has won the election with 68.6%.
She defeated the main opposition candidate of the All people’s Congress Party Hassan Yarjoh with 23% of the votes followed by Samu Alex Brima of the Revolutionary United Front Party with 3.9%.
The voting pattern in the said concluded bye election has clearly manifested that the current Ruling Sierra People’s Party still enjoys strong support in one of it strongholds Kenema City.
