The Fourah Bay College (FBC) Law Faculty has won the 2025 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court National Rounds.
The competition which took place on Thursday, January 30 at the FBC Multipurpose Hall drew participants from the University of Makeni (UNIMAK) and IMATT college.
The FBC Law Faculty team was represented by Dolcie Kailie (LLB4), Esther Marrah (LLB4) and Abraham Lappia (LLB2) at the competition. The FBC team also won the Best Memorial award with their team lead Kailie winning the Best Oralist award.
The FBC team were crowned champions of the year’s competition after they won both rounds against IMATT College and UNIMAK as Applicant and Respondent.

The FBC Team, tutored by Despaul Black and Anthony Belmore will represent Sierra Leone at the White and Case International Rounds in Washington DC later this year.
The Jessup competition is organised annually in more than 100 countries with more than 3,000 students participating.
