Minister of Youth Affairs, Ibrahim Sannoh, has taken action to help more than 41 victims affected by kush in the Central and Susan’s Bay communities.

The victims have been admitted to Connaught Hospital, where the Minister is personally covering both their medical and feeding expenses.

This is part of Minister Sannoh’s ongoing campaign to fight kush abuse among young people across the country. Once the victims regain stability, the Ministry will provide certified training programs to help them learn new skills, rebuild their lives, and avoid returning to drug use.

Minister Sannoh said these young people deserve a second chance, and that it’s important to move beyond just talking about the problem by providing real help.

This effort is part of the government’s wider plan to address drug abuse and support the country’s youth.
