Three employees from Lungi International Airport are currently facing charges of conspiracy to defraud an embezzlement. Sheku Jimmy, Hassan Kamara, and Mohamed Kamara appeared before magistrate Mary Julian Gbloh at Pademba Road Court No.5 in Freetown to answer to the allegations brought against them.
According to court documents, the accused individuals are believed to have conspired between February 12 and April 1, 2025, to defraud Sea Coach Express. It is alleged that during this period, the trio embezzled a total of 63 Sea Coach Express tickets, each valued at $45. This amounts to a staggering 73,710 Leones that were allegedly received without authorization from Sea Coach.
