The Anti-Corruption Commissioner of Sierra Leone, Francis Ben Kaifala Esq., is set to participate in the “Ease of Doing Business in Africa Conference” on July 10, 2025, at the House of Commons, UK Parliament.
The conference is hosted by Rt. Hon. Diane Abbott and aims to address critical issues surrounding investment in Africa.
Commissioner Kaifala will join a high-level panel discussion titled “Strengthening Integrity and Legal Confidence for Investment in Africa,” which features prominent leaders from various sectors across the continent.
The discussion will notably focus on the importance of fostering a trustworthy environment for investors in Africa.

Before his departure from Sierra Leone, Commissioner Kaifala emphasized the necessity of integrity in attracting investment.
He stated, “Investment in Africa must rest on a solid foundation of integrity and justice. When institutions are strong and corruption is not tolerated, trust flourishes, and economies grow.”
The conference is expected to draw attention to the challenges and opportunities for investment in Africa, with a specific focus on enhancing legal frameworks and institutional integrity.
