The mother of a young girl allegedly involved in the Ahmed Basha case has passed away, reportedly from heart complications linked to the emotional distress surrounding her daughter’s situation.

Renowned journalist, Sarah Kallay, revealed that the mother had been suffering from severe heart pains since the incident, which was intensified by distressing images and videos of her daughter circulating on social media.

Kallay, who felt compelled to check on the family, expressed her shock upon learning of the mother’s untimely death, stating, “I got a pain straight to my chest and again wish I had ignored my thoughts.”

Ahmed Basha, a businessman, was reportedly apprehended in custody at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) facing allegations of harboring underage girls at his residence, with some reports indicating that the girls are as young as 16.
