The First Lady of Sierra Leone, Fatima Bio, together with the Mayor of Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, officially launched the highly anticipated Housemates Salone Season 4 on July 18, 2025, at Chapter One Restaurant and Nightclub.

This edition of the flagship reality TV show is themed “Clean Game” and promises to bring a fresh wave of excitement to the country’s entertainment scene.

The launch event attracted hundreds of attendees, including notable figures such as Chief Minister, David Moinina Sengeh and Minister of Information and Civic Education, Chernor Bah, and the Inspector General of Police, William Fayia Sellu.

The organisers announced that the runner-up prize for this season is set at One Billion Old Leones (1 million New Leones) with additional packages designed to enhance the contestants’ experience upon entering the house.

Housemates Salone Season 4, dubbed the “Higher Level” edition, aims to deliver intensified drama and strategic gameplay, with a grand prize that surpasses all previous seasons.

The partnership between Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire and Africell, as always, is key and affirmed their commitment to promoting national development, youth empowerment, and cultural expression.

Sierra Leone’s top entertainers, including Entertainment Ambassador Kao Denero, Peace Ambassador King Boss LAJ, dancehall queen Star Zee, and rising Afrobeats star Boii, performed at the after-launch party, captivating the audience with their stunning performances.

The season is set to feature a group of young Sierra Leoneans living together under one roof, competing in various tasks that test their creativity, endurance, teamwork, and public appeal. Fans are assured of new twists, improved production quality, and an engaging lineup of housemates, ensuring a more immersive viewing experience.

The event also included a moment of silence in remembrance of late contestants Victor Onie Williams and Fumi, acknowledging their contributions to the show. The launch was strictly by invitation, drawing a high-profile gathering from the media, entertainment, and business sectors.
