A former striker for Bo Rangers, Suffian Kalokoh, celebrated a major milestone in his European football career after scoring his first brace for JDFS Alberts during a 4-2 victory over FK Smiltene in the 2025/26 Latvian Nakotnes League season.

The 23-year-old forward, who made the move to the Latvian second-tier side in June 2025, has now tallied three goals in five league appearances.

His recent performance has helped JDFS Alberts in maintaining their position at the top of the league table, accumulating 34 points from 15 matches, just one point ahead of their closest rivals, Riga Mariners.

After the match, Kalokoh expressed his gratitude to the club’s supporters, highlighting their encouragement as a motivating factor behind his performance.

He emphasized that his goals are focused on contributing to the team’s success and representing Sierra Leone positively on the international stage.

Currently ranked 39th among over 100 goal scorers in the league, Kalokoh trails the division’s top scorer, Algirdas Grazis of Riga Mariners, who has netted 15 goals in as many matches.

Despite the gap between him and Grazis, Kalokoh expressed determination to improve his standing in the league’s scoring charts.

JDFS Alberts is set to face Rezeknes FA/BJSS on Saturday, August 9, as they aim for a third consecutive league win. A victory could allow the club to extend its narrow lead at the top of the table.
