The National Publicity Secretary of the All People’s Congress (APC), Alhaji Sidi Yayah Tunis, has called for a much-needed dialogue between President Julius Maada Bio and former President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.
Speaking on the matter, Tunis emphasized that despite the ongoing treason allegations against the former president, Dr. Koroma, he holds no grudge against President Bio. He further stated that the former head of state remains open to engagement and willing to provide advice or act whenever called upon.
According to Tunis, the possibility of dialogue remains high, but he stressed that such engagement must be initiated in order to foster reconciliation and strengthen national unity.
Somebody tell me what dialogue President Bio needs to have with Ernest Bai Koroma the criminal.
Here is Ernest Koroma who ruled Sierra Leone for 11 (eleven) uninterrupted years. He stole our monies and other resources on a massive scale. In connivance with Christiana Thorpe, they rigged elections using various tactics. Ernest eventually left power and instead of sitting down quietly to enjoy his stolen wealth, he kept himself busy organising illegal demonstrations and coup plots. When the net was catching up on him, he faked sickness and went to Nigeria. He has been languishing in Nigeria for well over a year. Nobody is stopping Ernest from returning to Sierra Leone, except that he should be ready to face justice in the courts of law.
So what dialogue does he want to have with President Bio? Somebody tell me.
