Former LISCR Striker, Ishmael Dumbuya has been tagged as the favorite of winning the Liberia Football Association Most Valuable Player Award .

Dumbuya faces tight competition with Edward Ledlum base on performance, statistics and achievements during the 2022/2023 season.

The award is slated for October 7th, 2023, Nomination and voting will begin September.

The Prolific Sierra Leonean Forward had a fruitful season during his season loan spell with LISCR FC. Dumbuya helped the Liberian club securing 3 Trophies and a contribution  of 20 goals.

17 goals and 12 assist in the league, 3goals in the Orange Cup, scoring the only two Goals that helped LISCR win Watanga FC in the Orange Cup final and also scored in the final of the LFA Super Cup to help LISCR won.

his close Revival Edward Ledlum also had a great season for former club Bea Mountain who failed to win the league despite going unbeaten but settling to 2nd place with 4pts difference. Edward scored 14 goals and 13 assists with zero trophy.

Though Dumbuya has returned from his loan spell to his parent club PS ZIZO in Freetown, Liberian Sports lovers are saying with all fairness  when it comes to the MVP 2022/2023 Ishmael Dumbuya has proven beyond all reasonable doubt to clinch the title.
