The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the appointment of technical teams for the country’s U-17 male and female national squads.

The appointment was made amid Sierra Leone’s preparation to participate in the upcoming West Africa Football Union (WAFU) competitions.

According to a public notice released by the SLFA, the Executive Committee is pleased to reveal the technical teams that will lead the U-17 male and female national teams.

The female U-17 technical team will be headed by Head Coach, Fatmata Turay, with Makalay Kamara as the Assistant Coach, Mohamed Kamara as the Goalkeeper Coach, Mariatu Jendi Koroma as the Welfare Officer, Elizabeth Alberta Kailey as the Media Officer, Fatmata Kallon as the Team Medic, and Miriam Heroe as the Team Administrator.

The male U-17 technical team will be led by Head Coach, Dominic John Konneh, with John Tamba Ngomgou as the Assistant Coach, Jeffrey Kabia as the Goalkeeper Coach, Isaac Mackfoy as the Team Medic, Henry Ebenezer Macaulay as the Team Manager, Abu Bakarr S. Kallon as the Team Administrator, Musa Santigie Kamara as the Media Officer, and Musa Kamara as the Welfare Officer.

The SLFA has congratulated the appointed technical teams and called on all Sierra Leoneans to rally behind the U-17 male and female squads as they prepare to represent the nation at the upcoming WAFU tournaments in Liberia and Mali.
