This morning, His Excellency Dr. Julius Maada Bio, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, and Her Excellency, the First Lady, departed Freetown International Airport for an official visit to the United Kingdom. The visit is scheduled to include a series of high-level diplomatic engagements aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Sierra Leone and the United Kingdom.

The delegation’s itinerary includes meetings with senior UK officials and engagements with international partners to discuss issues of mutual interest, including economic development, security cooperation, and regional stability.
