The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced that free buses will be made available for Leone Stars supporters who want to travel to Monrovia, Liberia, for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Ethiopia.

The match is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the Samuel K. Doe Stadium.

This arrangement, made possible through SLFA President Babadi Kamara, aims to help fans attend the game and support the national team in large numbers, especially with the match being played away from home.

According to the SLFA, a total of four buses will depart from Bo at exactly 4:00 AM on matchday. These buses will return to Sierra Leone immediately after the match. The transportation is free of charge, but available seats are limited and will be allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fans interested in travelling are advised to secure their spots through designated contact persons based on their region. Supporters from the Southern and Eastern Regions can get in touch with Yankuba Jaward via +23276854127 or Solomon Demby via +23278635175. Those in the Western Area, Northeast, and Northwest are encouraged to reach Mohamed Sesay on +23276910915 or Ishmael Saidu Bangura on +23279358255.

This move is part of ongoing efforts to bring fans closer to the national team, especially during important international fixtures. With travel support now in place, many fans are expected to make the journey to Monrovia and add their voices to the stands.

Leone Stars are hoping to strengthen their chances in the World Cup qualifiers as they prepare to face Ethiopia in what is shaping up to be a key match in their campaign.
