East End Lions Football Club and Bhantal Football Club are set to receive a total of $100,000 each as their participation fee in the 2025/2026 CAF Inter-Club Competition qualifiers.

According to the disbursement arrangement, the two Sierra Leonean clubs will each receive an initial payment of $50,000 before the start of the Preliminary Round, with the remaining $50,000 to be paid after the completion of the qualifying rounds.

The financial support forms part of CAF’s commitment to boosting club participation in continental football competitions and ensuring that teams are adequately resourced to meet the demands of international fixtures.

Meanwhile, East End Lions Football Club are en route to Tunisia to face Monastir FC in the CAF Champions League Preliminary Round first leg, while Bhantal Football Club will host Guinea’s Hafia FC on Saturday, 20th September 2025, at the Southern Arena.

Both clubs will represent Sierra Leone with pride, carrying the nation’s hopes for progress in African club football.
