The Sierra Leone U-17 Girls national team confirmed their dominance in the ongoing WAFU U-17 Girls Tournament in Liberia with a commanding 4–1 victory over the host nation.

Crowned champions with a game to spare following a 1–1 draw against Senegal, Sierra Leone finished at the top of the group with 10 points, remaining unbeaten throughout the competition.

The team opened the scoring early, netting two goals in the first half, while Liberia managed a goal just before halftime. In the second half, Sierra Leone added another goal in the 76th minute and sealed the win with a fourth, finishing the match 4–1.
