The University of Sierra Leone has confirmed the appointment of three new Deputy Vice-Chancellors, following ratification by the University Court today.
The appointments will take effect on 1 October 2025.
The new Deputy Vice-Chancellors are:
- Associate Professor Andrew C.M. Baio for Fourah Bay College (FBC)
- Associate Professor Ezekiel Duramany Lakkoh for the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM)
- Associate Professor James Baligeh Walter Russell Cole for the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS)
The university stated that these appointments were made in line with the Universities Act 2025.
The announcement was issued by Dr Tonya Musa, Director of Communications and International Relations at the University of Sierra Leone.
