The Leone Stars head coach, Mohamed Kallon, has made a late adjustment to the squad ahead of Wednesday’s decisive World Cup qualifying fixture against Burkina Faso in Monrovia, Liberia.
Santigie Koroma of Mighty Blackpool has been drafted in as a replacement for Citta Bah, who plies his trade with Danish club FC Midtjylland.
According to the SLFA, the change comes days before the must-win fixture at Samuel K. Doe Sports Complex, where Sierra Leone will be hoping to build on their recent victory against Ethiopia and keep their qualification hopes alive.

Furthermore, the national team has touched down safely in Monrovia, Liberia, on Friday, 3rd September 2025, in preparation to play a match against Burkina Faso on Wednesday, 8th October 2025.
Although the reason why he was replaced by Santigie Koroma is yet to be known, Citta Bah, a 19-year-old defender, has recently made a landmark transfer to FC Midtjylland, one of the leading clubs in Denmark.
