Two security guards, Gibrilla Sesay, 38, and Isha Sesay, 18, have once again appeared before Magistrate Mamakoh Saio Kallon of Pademba Road Court No. 3 in Freetown, where they are facing charges of wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The charges, brought under Sections 20 and 47 of the Offences Against the Person Act of 1861, stem from an alleged incident on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the Audit Building, Tower Hill, in the Western Area of Freetown.

The prosecution alleges that the two accused maliciously wounded and assaulted one Alie Turay, thereby causing him actual bodily harm.

When the matter was called, both defendants pleaded not guilty to the offences. The detective Police Constable 17220 Joel B. Sannoh, who is prosecuting the case, applied for a short adjournment to enable him to bring forward his witness.

In response, Magistrate Kallon adjourned proceedings to October 9, 2025, while maintaining bail for both accused persons.
