A heavy storm struck Kamaa Chiefdom in Kono District at around 7:00 p.m. yesterday, killing a woman after a tree fell on her, according to the Kono District Bloggers and Promoters Union.
The victim’s identity had not yet been confirmed at the time of reporting. The incident has left the community in mourning, with residents expressing deep sorrow over the tragic loss.
“We are devastated by what happened. May Allah forgive her shortcomings,” said a resident, reflecting the somber mood in the area.
