NACOVERC Announces New Travel Instructions For Passengers Traveling to And From Sierra Leone
The National Covid-19 Emergency Response Centre has released new travel restrictions for entry into or out of Sierra Leone.
According to NACOVERC, passengers coming to Sierra Leone from countries which may not have implemented the Trusted Travel Portal can go to www.globalhaven.org or www.trustedtravel.globalhaven.org and follow the directions.
For travelers to ensure that their Negative PCR test certificate is verifiable, they should upload it to the Trusted Travel or Global Haven platform, at least 3 hours before check-in. only Covid-19 test certificates verified on the Trusted Travel or Global Haven Platform will be valid for entry into or out of Sierra Leone.
Passengers traveling to and from Sierra Leone are still require to register to travel via the Government of Sierra Leone Travel portal www.travel.gov.sl , obtain their unique SI(for inbound travellers) or SO(for outbound travellers) numbers and ensure to pay for the Covid-19 test.
