A cleaner, Aiah Jimissa, has denied charges of conspiracy and larceny after allegedly stealing items by trick in Wilberforce.

Jimissa appeared before Magistrate John Manso Fornah of Pademba Road Court No. 2, where she faced two counts conspiracy to commit a crime and larceny. The offences are alleged to have occurred on Wednesday, 8 October 2025, at Main Road, Wilberforce.

According to court documents, Jimissa conspired with unknown persons to steal by trick and, on the same day, allegedly stole an Itel mobile phone, a charger, a bowl, and other assorted items belonging to complainant Aminata Magona, with a total value of 2,240 Leones.

When the charges were read, the accused pleaded not guilty. Prosecuting the case, Detective Police Constable 18235 K.K. Thoronka requested an adjournment to enable the prosecution to call its first witness.

Magistrate Fornah denied bail and adjourned the matter to 23 October 2025 for further proceedings.
