The National Public Relations Officer of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), Moses Mambu, has confirmed that the Sierra Leone Police have concluded their investigations into the case involving Umar Sheriff and found that he is no longer in the country.
Speaking on Truth Media, Mambu said law enforcement authorities conducted extensive searches nationwide but were unable to locate Sheriff.
“The police have searched every possible area across the country but could not find him,” Mambu explained.
He also addressed recent online speculation surrounding a viral photograph allegedly showing Umar Sheriff standing behind President Julius Maada Bio.
Mambu clarified that the person in the image is neither Bolle Jos nor Umar Sheriff.
“I have no personal knowledge of that man. I have only seen his picture on social media. Umar Sheriff is not in the country, and the police have confirmed this. That’s the end of the matter,” he concluded.

This is a load of crap and a big disgrace and embarrassment to the Bio lead government . The authorities should bow their heads in shame. They are a disgrace to SL
Why is it a shame or disgrace? Umaru Sheriff is just a suspect. He has committed no crime in Sierra Leone. There is no extradition treaty between Sierra Leone and the Dutch government. For this reason the Dutch government has always refused to extradite Adebayor to Sierra Leone, yet they expect the government to arrest Umaru Sheriff and hand him over to the Dutch government. NO WAY.
I agree with you bro, there is no extradition treaty between Sierra Leone and the Dutch government. Why the Dutch government has always refused to extradite Adebayor to Sierra Leone, yet they expect the government of Sierra Leone to arrest Umaru Sheriff and hand him over to the Dutch government. Because, they are European and we are Africans who should submit and beg? NO WAY.
To maintain the name of our beloved mama salon let the government look at it and quietly hand over these criminals
