Sierra Leonean musician and Peace Ambassador King Boss LA (Alhaji Amadu Bah) has publicly confirmed his affection for fellow artiste Delvaqyo, describing her as a “kind and lovable person” whom he holds in high regard.

In a recent radio interview, Boss LA spoke about his relationship with Delvaqyo, marking the latest development in the long-running rivalry between him and Delvaqyo’s former partner, Entertainment Ambassador Kao Denero.

Boss LA stated he has placed significant trust in Delvaqyo and believes she deserves respect both in her personal life and from the public. Reflecting on her “past relationship” (implying Kao Denero), LAJ suggested that Delvaqyo was not treated with the level of respect she deserved, alleging she experienced emotional neglect or disrespect.

He claimed this motivated him to step into her life with the intention of providing the support, love, and appreciation she was previously denied. He emphasized that women should be treated with dignity, noting that appreciation and respect are essential in any partnership.

Boss LA went further, stating, “Women should be respected unconditionally, regardless of status or background,” and that men have a responsibility to protect, value, and uplift the women they care for. He suggested the public should appreciate him for the role he claims to have played in bringing stability and respect back into Delvaqyo’s life.

Rumors of the relationship first surfaced in November 2024, when Boss LA’s absence from Kao Denero’s Heroes album launch sparked fan speculation that he was dating Delvaqyo.

The rivalry intensified a month later in December 2024 when Boss LA released a fierce diss track aimed directly at Kao Denero, with lyrics reflecting Kao’s perspective on his relationship with Delvaqyo, which was characterized as lacking excitement. Delvaqyo was later seen sharing a video of herself enjoying the track.

In April 2025, Delvaqyo publicly distanced herself from the dispute, asserting that she had moved on “over 3 years” ago. She declared that her “ex’s enemy, nor to me enemy” and expressed a commitment to her “personal peace and well-being,” asserting her right to choose her own associations. At that time, she teased the release of a new single, “ONLY YOU,” which features King Boss LA.
