The Ministry of Information and Civic Education has announced the official opening of registration for young Sierra Leoneans interested in showcasing their talents at the upcoming Youth Creative Night, one of the key highlights of the Salone Civic Festival 2025.
The event, scheduled for 12 December 2025 at the Miatta Civic Centre in Freetown, aims to promote youth creativity and national pride by providing a platform for performers across various artistic fields. Young people with talents in singing, dancing, poetry, comedy, fashion, and visual art are encouraged to apply.
According to the Ministry, participation in the Youth Creative Night also offers an opportunity for selected individuals to be considered as Official Civic Ambassadors under the Civic Education initiative.
Organisers are urging interested youths to register early, noting that spaces are limited. Registration can be completed online via the designated link or by scanning the event’s QR code.
The Youth Creative Night will run from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Miatta Civic Centre, Youyi Building, and forms part of the broader Salone Civic Festival 2025 activities designed to strengthen civic values and participation among Sierra Leone’s young population.
