The National Revenue Authority (NRA) has issued an urgent reminder to mining companies, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) license holders, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), television and radio stations, and holders of state land leases, urging them to promptly settle their outstanding dues.

The NRA’s notice warns that failure to comply with tax and non-tax obligations will result in immediate enforcement actions.

The NRA has emphasized that all stakeholders in the affected sectors are strongly urged to address their financial obligations without further delay.

In its statement, the authority made it clear that, in accordance with Section 12 of the Finance Act, 2019, it will take swift action to ensure full compliance and recovery of all due revenues.

The NRA outlined the potential consequences for non-compliance, which include the sealing of business premises, garnishment of business accounts, and restrictions on travel outside the country. These measures will be enforced to ensure the timely collection of outstanding dues.

The notice, issued by the NRA on behalf of the Commissioner General, urges all affected parties to take immediate action to avoid facing these stringent enforcement measures.
