The Executive Producer of Housemates Salone Season 4, Ambassador Anthony Navo Jr., has said that contestant Charm Solomon, popularly known as Yambo, deserved to win the reality television show based on his performance and growth in the entertainment industry.
Speaking during an interview on the AYV Wake Up Salone programme, Navo reflected on Yambo’s journey, noting that his career began about four years ago when he participated as a dancer on AYV Hit the Street. Although Yambo reached the semi-finals of the competition, he did not emerge as the winner.
Navo explained that Yambo later went on to appear in multiple editions of Housemates Salone, from Season 1 through Season 4, steadily building his profile and demonstrating consistency and talent.
“Honestly speaking, in my personal opinion, if I were the deciding factor of who was to win Housemates Salone Season 4 and not by votes, I would have definitely given the win to Charm Solomon (Yambo), because I was clearly convinced that he truly deserves the win,” Navo said.
He added that Yambo’s dedication and progress over the years set him apart and justified his view that the contestant merited the top prize. Navo’s comments have further reinforced Yambo’s standing as one of Sierra Leone’s emerging talents in the entertainment industry.
