Orange Sierra Leone hosted a heartfelt Stakeholders’ Farewell Cocktail on 13 January 2026 at Country Lodge Hotel in Freetown, in honour of its outgoing Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Sekou Amadou Bah.
The event brought together Senior government officials, diplomats, industry leaders and partners, to celebrate a leadership journey defined by humility, vision, and impact.
Speakers applauded Mr. Bah for steering strong growth, expanding network coverage, strengthening public-private partnerships, and positioning Orange Sierra Leone as a trusted partner in national development.



Beyond business achievements, tributes reflected his people-centered leadership grounded in empathy, discipline, humility, accountability, and collaboration.
Stakeholders, regulators, ministers, and colleagues praised his inclusive approach and meaningful contributions to financial inclusion, digital innovation, healthcare, education, and corporate social responsibility.
In his farewell address, Mr. Bah described his nearly four-year tenure as a story of purpose, progress, and partnership, noting his focus on building a lasting legacy. He expressed gratitude to staff, partners, competitors, and his family, stating: “I came as a CEO, but I leave as a brother.”
The evening concluded with incoming CEO, Madam Aïcha Touré, who pledged to build on the foundation laid, strengthen collaboration with stakeholders, and drive forward technological development and digital inclusion across Sierra Leone.
