Newborn Baby Rescued Alive After Being Dumped in Toilet in Bo City

A newborn baby was reportedly rescued alive after allegedly being dumped inside a toilet in Bo City, in what authorities have described as a disturbing incident.

According to reports, the baby was saved through the swift intervention of a passerby identified as Idrissa, who reportedly heard faint cries coming from inside the toilet. He immediately raised an alarm, attracting the attention of nearby residents who assisted in rescuing the child. The baby was found alive and was rescued in time.

Meanwhile, the woman alleged to be the child’s mother has denied the accusation. She stated that she had left her baby in a room and later returned to discover that the child was missing.

Neighbours have since called on the Sierra Leone Police to thoroughly investigate the incident to establish the circumstances surrounding the matter. Many residents also expressed gratitude that the baby was rescued alive, thanking God for the timely intervention that saved the child’s life.
