The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, has joined Presidents and General Secretaries of the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) 54 Member Associations at a high-level meeting convened by CAF President, Dr. Patrice Motsepe, in Morocco.

The meeting is being held on the sidelines of the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final between Senegal and host nation Morocco, providing an important platform for discussions on the future growth and development of African football.

Key issues addressed include policy direction, governance, competitions, and sustained investment in football development across the continent.

President Kamara’s participation highlights Sierra Leone’s commitment to active engagement within CAF and to strengthening its presence in continental football affairs.
