The University of Management and Technology (UNIMTECH) has announced that its 15th Congregation Lecture will be held on Thursday, 5th February 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
According to information released to the staff of the University, the lecture will be centrally hosted at the European Hall on the main campus, Kissy Dockyard, Freetown, with the University’s four regional campuses participating virtually.
The theme for this year’s Congregation Lecture is “Producing Job Creators”, a topic expected to stimulate discussion on innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic development.
The Guest Lecturer for the event is Dr. Victor Oladokun, a former Senior Adviser to the President of the African Development Bank, who brings extensive experience in development policy and leadership across Africa.
The University leadership has encouraged staff and stakeholders to participate in the lecture, which forms a key part of UNIMTECH’s academic and intellectual engagement activities.
