Three individuals, Emmanuel Senesie, Kindo Kamara, and Emmanuel Sampha Kabia have pleaded guilty to charges related to the theft and illegal possession of Lubrex lubricant oil at Pademba Road Court No. 1 on Monday.

According to the charge sheet, Senesie and Kamara allegedly conspired on Friday, 28 November 2025, at College Road, Goderich in Freetown, to steal 50 drums of Lubrex lubricant oil valued at US$50,000 (Le1,200,000) from Masmak Mining Company. At the time, the drums were under the custody of Madam Harriet Turay.

The third accused, Kabia, reportedly received two drums of the stolen lubricant oil between 1 and 30 September 2025, valued at US$2,000 (Le48,000), fully aware that the property had been stolen.

When the charges were read in court, all three pleaded guilty. Magistrate Mustapha Braima Jah adjourned the matter to Tuesday, 28 January 2026, for judgment, while the accused were remanded in custody pending sentencing.

The case highlights concerns over the theft of high-value industrial supplies and the importance of safeguarding company property in Sierra Leone.
