The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) have issued an urgent “Wanted” notice for Joseph Bangura, a local driver accused of stealing a significant sum of money from a residence in Freetown.
According to official police documents, Bangura is the primary suspect in a case of larceny in a dwelling house, allegedly stealing $7,000 USD (approximately 160,000 Leones) before fleeing the area.
Police have released the following information to help identify the suspect:

- Occupation: Driver
- Last Known Address: No. 9D Cockrill Junction, Wilkinson Road, Freetown
- Nationality: Sierra Leonean
- Physical Description: Dark complexion, adult male
- Warrant Number: LPS/W-A 4425/2025
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has authorized a warrant for Bangura’s arrest. Authorities have announced that a reward will be offered for credible information leading to his capture.
