A public appeal has been launched for the recovery of a missing echocardiography machine—one of only two such devices in Sierra Leone.
The missing equipment is a “Vivid iQ Ultra Edition” machine used by cardiologists to perform critical heart diagnostic tests.
According to the alert, the sophisticated device is password-protected and can only be operated by a trained specialist, rendering it useless to an unauthorized person.
To facilitate the device’s safe return, Prime Clinic is offering a “handsome reward” for any information leading to its recovery. Stakeholders have indicated that the priority is saving lives, and the return will be handled with a “no questions asked” policy.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the Vivid iQ machine is urged to contact Prime Clinic immediately.
