The Mayor of the Freetown City Council, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr and the Deputy Mayor of Freetown, Osman T. Koroma, are in heated argument over the impeachment of the Deputy Mayor.

This occurred at a meeting held at the City Hall, organised for the impeachment of the Deputy Mayor, Osman T. Koroma. Deputy Mayor Koroma has being undermining and working against Mayor Aki-Sawyerr, which was why the majority councillors signed a petition to impeach him.

36 out of 48 councillors signed for his impeachment but the Deputy Mayor has refused to go.
