The Executive Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has appointed Mr. Mohamed Benson Bawoh as General Secretary and Mr. Ishmail Saidu Kanu as Deputy General Secretary, with immediate effect.

The appointments were confirmed following a meeting of the SLFA Executive Committee and form part of the Association’s efforts to strengthen its administrative structures and improve governance within the country’s football system.

According to the SLFA, the decision aligns with its broader commitment to enhancing effective football administration and supporting the implementation of its strategic objectives.

The Association stated that both appointees were selected based on their experience, professionalism, and leadership qualities.

The Executive Committee expressed confidence that Mr. Bawoh and Mr. Kanu will contribute positively to the ongoing development of football in Sierra Leone and support the Association’s operational and developmental programmes.

The SLFA also extended best wishes to the newly appointed officials as they assume their respective roles in advancing football administration and development nationwide.
