Fear Grips Sierra Leoneans as NaCOVERC Confirms 32 New Cases of COVID-19

Many Sierra Leoneans have been thrown into a palpable state of fear after the National COVID-19 Emergency Response Center (NaCOVERC) announced 32 new cases of COVID-19 in the country on Wednesday. 

This becomes one of its highest daily new cases of COVID-19 infection since the Global pandemic was announced in February 2020.

Not too long ago the country was having less than 2 cases a day but that number has skyrocketed.

A lot of Sierra Leoneans are now living in constant fear over the daily increase in the confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country.

Western Area has recorded the highest since the start of COVID-19 in the country, and it’s still recording the highest.

The country has continued to experience an upsurge in cases and over the last couple of days, the numbers have steadily increased.
