All People’s Congress (APC) flagbearer aspirant, Mohammed Omodu Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, has made a major financial contribution exceeding Le 1.1 billion towards the extension and strengthening of the APC Northwest Regional Party Office, Bai Bureh Hall, in Masiaka, Port Loko District.

The donation, made on Tuesday, forms part of efforts to bolster the party’s infrastructure and enhance its readiness ahead of the 2028 general elections. Mr Kamara said the contribution reflects his commitment to rebuilding and strengthening the APC, particularly in the Northwest Region.

Speaking during the presentation, Jagaban emphasized the need for unity, organization, and effective mobilization within the party as it prepares for future electoral contests. He said he possesses both the vision and financial capacity to support the APC’s growth and to contribute meaningfully to national transformation.

In a separate gesture aimed at promoting religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence, the APC aspirant also donated NLe 200,000, shared equally between a church and a mosque in the community. He said the donation was intended to encourage unity among Sierra Leoneans regardless of religious affiliation.

Mr Kamara further stressed the urgent need to transform Sierra Leone, noting that inclusive leadership, respect for party elders, and collective effort are essential to rebuilding public confidence and strengthening the APC’s political base

Party supporters and community members welcomed the donations, describing them as timely contributions toward party development and community harmony in the region.
