A joint team of personnel from the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) and the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) arrested two suspected drug dealers at the Mile 38 Checkpoint on Monday, February 16, 2026.
According to the report, the suspects were intercepted at the checkpoint while plying a vehicle with registration number AZB–920. The vehicle was reportedly driven by Mohamed Sesay of Peninsula Road, Banga Farm, and accompanied by Abdul Musa, a resident of Freetown.
During a search of the vehicle, security personnel discovered a quantity of substances suspected to be Kush, along with other drug-related materials.
Both suspects, together with the exhibits, have been handed over to the Transnational Organised Crime Unit (TOCU) for further investigation.
