The Sierra Leone DJs Union (SLeDU) has officially released the final list of nominees for the 2026 SLeDU National Music Awards, setting the stage for a grand celebration of the nation’s musical talent.

The organizing committee announced the nominees across 34 categories, honoring the artists, producers, and industry professionals who have shaped the country’s entertainment landscape over the past year. Following a comprehensive screening and review process, the final contenders are now confirmed and ready to vie for the top honors.

In a significant announcement, SLeDU has confirmed that the winners in all categories will be determined entirely by public voting. There will be no jury, no panel scoring, and no backstage influence, placing the power to decide the winners squarely in the hands of the fans. Nominees are being encouraged to actively mobilize their supporters to vote.

The prestigious awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on March 27th, 2026, at the Bintumani Conference Centre. The event promises to be a historic night celebrating music, culture, and entertainment excellence, bringing together top entertainers, industry leaders, and fans from across the country.
