His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio has arrived in Vienna to participate in the International Vienna Energy and Climate Forum (IVECF), scheduled for 9–10 April 2026. At the forum, he will deliver remarks on Mission 300, an initiative aimed at expanding energy access across Africa.
President Bio’s speech is expected to shape discussions on green industrialisation and climate-resilient energy solutions, highlighting their role in achieving a just transition, building resilience, fostering stability, and promoting shared prosperity in Least Developed Countries and Landlocked Developing Countries.
During his visit, the President will hold a series of high-level meetings on the sidelines of the Energy and Climate Summit, engaging with global policymakers, innovators, and experts.
The IVECF is recognised as a leading international platform for advancing sustainable development and climate action, bringing together global leaders and young change-makers.
By attending, President Bio reinforces Africa’s call for meaningful investment and genuine partnerships, demonstrating the continent’s potential and the transformative impact of collaboration in driving progress for its people.
