The office of Mohamed Asmieu Bah, Deputy Director General of the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC TV), was completely destroyed by fire on April 8, leaving properties reduced to ashes, according to information from the institution.

The fire, described as devastating, engulfed Mr. Bah’s office and consumed everything within the premises. No items were salvaged, as the blaze left “nothing but ashes” in its wake, report confirmed.

Despite the scale of destruction, Mr. Bah escaped unharmed. He expressed gratitude for his survival, stating that he thanked Allah for keeping him safe during the incident.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and remains under investigation. SLBC officials say efforts are ongoing to establish what triggered the blaze.
