Bo Rangers maintained their title charge with a narrow 1-0 win over Bai Bureh Warriors in Matchweek 24 of the Leone Rock Premier League at the Southern Arena. The League Leaders, Bo Rangers have been impressive in the second rounds of the competition under the guidance of Coach Alhaji ‘Abedi’ Foray.

Desmond Thorpe scored the decisive goal in the 46th minute, firing the Rangers into a lead that they held onto despite dominating possession and chances in the second half. The former FC Kallon’s skipper’s goal was the difference between the two sides, as Bo Rangers looked to consolidate their position at the top of the table.

Abu Komeh had a chance to double the lead from the penalty spot in the 70th minute but failed to convert, and the Warriors’ goalkeeper Amara Kamara was outstanding, making several crucial saves to earn him Man of the Match honors.

Bai Bureh Warriors struggled to trouble Bo Rangers’ defense, and their star players like Koliko Prospere Haba were unable to make an impact. The Warriors’ inability to replicate their fine form from the first half of the league was evident, and they remain fifth in the league table.

The win extends Bo Rangers’ lead at the top of the table to four points, with Star Sport Academy in second place. Bo Rangers are now looking to build on this momentum as they chase their fourth title in five years.
