The Sierra Leone Aquatic Federation has unveiled a five-member squad to represent the Sierra Dolphins at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
The team comprises Moses Sahr Yongai, Olamide Elizabeth Sam, Halle Harris, Ibrahim Kamara, and John Alimamy Samura. They will be supported by Head Coach Gibrilla Kanu Bamba and Team Medic Dr. Manso Sankoh.
According to the federation, the selected swimmers reflect a balance of experience and emerging talent as the country prepares for the international competition scheduled for July. The governing body stated that preparations for the Games are expected to intensify in the coming months.
The federation further noted that the athletes are aiming to deliver strong performances and set new records on the international stage as they represent Sierra Leone in Glasgow.
The announcement signals the official start of the country’s campaign for the Commonwealth Games, with expectations that the Sierra Dolphins will build on both individual potential and team cohesion under the guidance of the technical staff.
