The Local Unit Commander (LUC) of Tankoro Division, CSP Dr. Sahr Nyuma, has led a comprehensive sanitation exercise aimed at promoting health, safety, and operational efficiency within the division.
The exercise took place on Saturday, 2nd May 2026, with support from the Division’s Support Officer, ASP Dauda Amara Sanu. Personnel were mobilised to remove occupational hazards across police facilities.
The clean-up operation was carried out simultaneously at all divisional headquarters, sub-stations, and police posts under Tankoro Division.
The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to ensure that personnel work in a clean, safe, and conducive environment while maintaining physical fitness.

Officers actively participated in the exercise within their respective areas of responsibility, reinforcing discipline, teamwork, and collective responsibility.
CSP Nyuma has continued to prioritise hygiene and workplace safety as important elements of effective policing. The sanitation exercise is expected to improve working conditions, enhance morale, and strengthen service delivery within the division.
