According to a public notice issued on May 15 by the party’s National Secretariat, a new date for the postponed constituency elections will be officially announced on Tuesday, May 19.

The National Secretariat confirmed that these ward-level elections are expected to proceed as planned on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

In the notice signed by National Secretary General Lansana Dumbuya, the party urged its membership to maintain peace and order during the transition.
