The National Secretariat of the All People’s Congress (APC) has republished locations for the conduct of its rerun ward elections across several districts in Sierra Leone.
In a public notice dated May 22, 2026, the party announced that the rerun elections will be conducted in wards and constituencies across the Western Area, Kenema, Moyamba, Pujehun, Kono, Falaba, Tonkolili, Bombali, Karene, Kambia and Port Loko districts.
According to the notice issued by the APC National Secretariat, the rerun exercise will take place at designated polling locations identified for each ward and constituency. The party stated that the move forms part of preparations for the rerun ward elections in affected areas nationwide.
In the Western Area Urban District, rerun elections are expected to be conducted in Constituency 116 covering Wards 407, 408 and 409, with polling locations listed as SLMB Primary School at Newstead Lane Congo Water, SLMB Rokupa Yanka Kanu Street and SLMB Primary School, Portee.
Constituency 118 Ward 414 will vote at Kulafa Rashidin Primary School, Thunder Hill, while Constituency 124 Ward 427 will use Granat Market, Kabia Lots as its polling centre.
The notice further indicated that Constituency 125 Ward 430 will conduct voting at The Ark on Robert Street. In Constituency 127 Ward 435, the APC stated that the rerun would be conducted for “pro position only” based on a decision of the party’s Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) process. The notice also listed Ward 386 in Western Area Rural Constituency 109 as “IEMC cancellation.”
Outside the Western Area, the APC announced that rerun elections in Kenema District, Constituency 021 Ward 069, will take place at Alkudu Primary School in Samai Town, Kpayama.
Several rerun polling centres were also announced for Moyamba District, including Bradford Community Center, Suen Primary School, Moyah UMC Primary School, ICS Primary School at Fakai Madina, UMC Primary School Mosengbendeh and UMC Salina in Moyamba Town.
In Pujehun District, the rerun exercise is expected to take place in Wards 356 and 362 at Makorma and Gbomukor respectively.
The notice also identified multiple rerun polling locations across Kono District, including Yengema, Wordu, Bankabaya, Masundu, Tefeya and Kansay.
In Falaba District, the APC listed polling locations in Constituency 042 Wards 139 and 140 at Kulai Town and Tireror respectively, in addition to previously announced centres in Falaba Town, Sankarleya, Kerifaya, Bandakarifaya, Gbirimba and Deldu Kamaron.
Additional rerun centres were announced in Tonkolili District, including Constituency 054 Ward 180 at Mabineh Town and Ward 181 at the Masingbi APC Party Office.
In Bombali District, the APC listed several polling locations, including Constituency 031 Ward 100 at Kamaranka Community Center; Constituency 032 Ward 105 at Makombu Community Centre; Constituency 034 Wards 112 and 113 at Makambray Village Community Center and Kamoria Community Village Center; Constituency 037 Wards 121 and 122 at UMC School and Turntable Court Barray; and Constituency 038 Ward 123 at MCA Community Center.
The APC further announced rerun polling locations in Karene District, including Constituency 063 Ward 212 at Korto Community Center; Constituency 064 Ward 217 at Kakamba Primary School; Constituency 065 Wards 220 and 221 at Kamalo Court Barray and Kumbu; and Constituency 066 Wards 225, 227 and 228 at Roshaka Primary School, Kayorgbor Lol, Menthen RC Primary School and Sandugu Court Barray respectively.
In Kambia District, the notice identified several rerun polling locations, including Constituency 057 Wards 189, 190 and 191 at Rogbaray, Mafaray & Bassia Town Primary School and Kukuna Town respectively.
Constituency 058 Wards 195 and 196 will vote at Madina Town and Masellen Town & Mile 14, while Constituency 060 Wards 200, 201, 202 and 203 will conduct rerun voting at Community Center, Bamoi Luma Court Barray, New Party Office Kambia Town and Matham Primary School respectively.
The republished notice also included rerun polling locations in Port Loko District. According to the APC, Constituency 068 Wards 248, 249 and 250 will vote at Children’s Welfare School, Cimeck; Mang Morie Court Barray and Community Center Rolal Thamiso Village; and Kagbathama Town Chiefdom Headquarters & RC Primary School, Romeni Village respectively.
Constituency 073 Wards 254 and 255 will conduct rerun elections at Songo Court Barray and Evangelical Primary School, Mile 38, while Constituency 075 Ward 235 will vote at Mamaranka Court Barray.
The notice was issued under the authority of the APC National Secretariat, which said the republished polling locations are intended to guide party members and stakeholders participating in the rerun ward elections across the country.
The Secretariat further stated that any concern, inquiry or complaint arising from the publication should be directed to the APC National Secretariat for the necessary guidance and administrative action.
