Sierra Leonean musician Alhaji Alieu Bundu, popularly known as Alieu Melody, has unveiled his newly constructed three-bedroom en-suite house in Makeni, marking a major milestone after more than two decades in the music industry.
The artist, who began songwriting in 2001 and released his first single in 2005, showcased the property on social media, attracting congratulatory messages from fans and fellow entertainers across the country.
Speaking on social media, he attributed the achievement to “working and building in silence,” a phrase he says reflects his approach to career development and personal investment away from public attention.
Alieu Melody, based in Makeni, has been active in Sierra Leone’s music industry since the early 2000s. He started as a songwriter before transitioning into recording, with his 2005 debut single laying the foundation for a career spanning over two decades.
