A tragic incident occurred in the Masullah community in Lungi on Wednesday after a building reportedly collapsed, trapping several people inside.
According to eyewitnesses at the scene, the structure suddenly gave way, causing panic among residents and bystanders. Community members and emergency responders immediately began rescue efforts in an attempt to locate and assist those believed to be trapped beneath the rubble.
Witnesses told reporters that several individuals were inside the building at the time of the collapse. However, the exact number of people affected has not yet been confirmed.
As of the time of reporting, authorities have not officially confirmed any deaths or serious injuries resulting from the incident.
