Baydoun Company Limited has launched the Suad Baydoun National Essay Competition 2026, an initiative aimed at engaging secondary school students across Sierra Leone.
The competition is being spearheaded by SUAD Baydoun, Chief Executive Officer of Baydoun Company Limited. Organizers said the first school outreach visit was conducted today to introduce the initiative to students.
The essay competition will run from 1 July to 31 July 2026 and is open to all secondary school students in Sierra Leone. The theme for this year’s edition is “The Sierra Leone I Want to See by 2040.”
According to the organizers, the competition is intended to promote critical thinking, creativity, academic excellence, and youth empowerment. Parents, guardians, and school administrators are being encouraged to support student participation.
Baydoun Company Limited said additional school visits are planned in the coming weeks, and application details are being made available through the company’s official channels.
