The First Lady of Sierra Leone, Fatima Maada Bio, has publicly celebrated a significant academic milestone in the life of her daughter, Amina Maada Bio, following her graduation from primary school to lower secondary school.

In a heartfelt message shared shortly after the ceremony, the First Lady described the transition as an important “stepping stone” in Amina’s educational journey. She noted that although she was unable to be physically present at the event due to unavoidable scheduling commitments, she was pleased to see the support of the President, Julius Maada Bio, who stood by their daughter during the occasion.

“Congratulations, my daughter. May your journey be filled with unending success. I love you, Daddy loves you, and the family loves you. May God bless you, guide and protect you,” she wrote, extending her blessings not only to Amina but also to all members of the Class of 2026 graduating cohort.

The message has been widely viewed as both a personal family celebration and an encouragement to pupils across the country advancing to the next stage of their academic pursuits.
